Day 1 : Arrive Mumbai

Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be welcomed by our company representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After a briefing session of the tour program, your travel documents will be handed over to you. Mumbai earlier called ”Bombay” is the finance capital of India. We start this West India & North India holiday package with a city tour of Mumbai. This afternoon, you will be taken to the Hanging Gardens located on the beautiful slopes of the Malabar Hills as well as Kamla Nehru Park offering marvellous panoramic view of the Chowpatty Beach and the Marine Drive. As you proceed with your tour, you will be taken to Mani Bhawan, Prince of the Wales Museum, Gate of India and Dhobi-Ghat and will drive through Marine Drive, Flora Fountain and Crawford market.

Day 2 : Mumbai

Morning after breakfast you will be taken to Elephanta Caves which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sight is a collection of cave temples predominantly dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Shiva.

Day 4 : Mumbai to Jaipur by Air

Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon check-out from Hotel & transfer to Airport to board connecting flight for Jaipur, JAIPUR – Named after its founder Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II was established on 18 November 1727. Jaipur is the first planned city of the country. In 1878AD, Jaipur was painted with Pink color to welcome Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria and since then the city is also known as “Pink City”. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check-in to the hotel.

Day 5 : Jaipur Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast you will start with the sightseeing of Jaipur –Early in the morning we will leave for an excursion to Amber City; the capital of Kachhwahas for six centuries before the foundation of Jaipur City was laid. Ascend the Amber Fort enjoying the royal traditional experience of Elephant ride. Within the Fort complex we will visit Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas. Later drive back to Pink City. En-route stop for a short photo-shoot in-front the Jal Mahal, a small palace set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Visit the City Palace, situated in the heart of the old city which occupies about one seventh of the Old City and within the City Palace we will visit Mubarak Mahal, Clock Tower and City Palace Museum. Later we will visit Jantar Mantar an observatory, built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. The huge sun dials still provides the accurate time. Before returning to your hotel, take pictures in-front the Hawa Mahal or the ‘Palace of Winds’. This is a five storied semi-octagonal building which has 152 beautiful windows and was built in 1799 AD by Maharaja Pratap Singh for the royal ladies to enjoy the processions and other royal activities on the street.
OVERNIGHT AT JAIPUR

Day 6 : Jaipur/Pushkar/Jaipur

Morning after breakfast drive to Pushkar. Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in Ajmer, India. The city is at a height of 510 metres surrounded by hillocks on three sides. The ‘Nag Pahar’, literally meaning Snake Mountain forms a natural border between Ajmer and Pushkar. Known as ‘the rose garden of Rajasthan’, the essence of the famous Pushkar rose is exported all over the world. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Brahma, believed to be the creator of the Universe, dropped a lotus to the ground leading to the immediate creation of a lake. He named the place after the flower, Pushkar. This is the only temple which is dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole world. Hindus consider a journey to Pushkar as an ultimate pilgrimage that must be undertaken to attain salvation. Evening drive back to Jaipur .

OVERNIGHT AT JAIPUR.

Day 7 : Jaipur-Agra (240Kms Drive)

Breakfast at hotel, later checkout from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. En-route visit FATEHPUR SIKRI. The capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585 was founded in 1569 by the Mughal emperor Akbar. It is just 40 km drive from Agra. Sightseeing – Here we will visit the magnificent Buland Darwaza; 55 metre high gate was added some five years later after the completion of the mosque ca. 1576-1577, also visit Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti a holy shrine, Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas. Further continue drive to Agra. Upon arrival, check in to the accommodation. Rest of the day is free at leisure for own activities or relax in the hotel.

OVERNIGHT AT AGRA

Day 8 : Agra-Delhi (214Kms Drive Approx.)

Morning breakfast at hotel later visit to Taj Mahal; one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Shah Jahan built this dazzling point of interest in the memory of his dearest Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years and 20,000 workers to complete this superbly symmetrical place. Later visit to Agra Fort; generally called the Red Fort is a world heritage site recorded by UNESCO. The red sandstone fortress was changed over to a Palace in the midst of Shāh Jahān’s shot, and adjusted broadly with marble and pietra dura enliven. Following visit to I’timād-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb; arranged on the left bank of the Yamuna waterway, the sepulcher is set in an extensive cruciform garden, overwhelmed by water courses and walkways. Afternoon drive to Delhi . On arrival check-in at hotel .

OVERNIGHT AT DELHI

Day 9 : Delhi - Srinagar by Air. Srinagar to Gulmarg (56Kms One Way)

After breakfast leave for the Delhi airport to board your flight to Srinagar . On arrival, drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), 2730 mts above sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and a highest located golf course with 18 holes. You can have the views of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Enjoy sledge riding on snow or Gondola ride (Cable car) up to Khilanmarg to enjoy the fascinating panoramic view of Peerpanchal range.

OVERNIGHT AT GULMARG

Day 10 : Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast drive to Sringar. On arrival transfer to the houseboat/hotel for check-in. After lunch, proceed for Srinagar city tour visiting Mughal Gardens, Nishat (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar (Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal-Lake & River Jehlum, evening return back to houseboat/hotel at Srinagar.

OVERNIGHT AT SRINAGAR

Day 11 : Jaipur-Agra (240Kms Drive)

Early breakfast at hotel & drive to Sonamarg, Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, ‘The meadow of gold’, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout & mahaseer. A pony can be hired for the trip to Thajiwasglacier, a major local attraction during the summer months. The drive to Sonamarg is through the Sindh Valley, another spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. After visiting Sonmarg drive to Srinagar . On arrival transfer to House boat .

Day12 : Srinagar - Delhi by Air

Morning breakfast at the hotel, later transfer to Srinagar airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival check-in at hotel.

Day13 : Srinagar - Delhi by Air

Morning after breakfast, full day city tour of Delhi. VISIT AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE.

Akshardham’ means the divine abode of God is an eternal place of devotion, purity and peace. The temple is fmous for its art and architecture.

After visiting Akshardham’ drive pass through India Gate, Parliament House, presidents house and proceed to visit Raj Ghat; the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Further visit to Jama Masjid; built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It is one of the largest known mosques in India. Further, we will drive-pass through Chandni Chowk Market; Asia’s largest wholesale market and Red Fort; a beautiful red sandstone fort built by the Mughals.

Day14 : Delhi - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon checkout from hotel & transfer to international Airport to board flight for back home.
