Day 1: (Friday) Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul. Get transferred to your hotel and rest of the day is free for you to explore Istanbul.

Overnight at Istanbul

Day 2: (Saturday) Istanbul Old City

After a sumptuous breakfast at hotel, tour the exotic city that spans both Europe and Asia. Visit the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, St Sophia Museum and the Hippodrome. In the afternoon, enjoy the cruise between two continents on a stretch that separates Europe from Asia, on an optional ’Half day Bosphorous cruise’.

Day 3: (Sunday) Ankara, Cappadocia

After breakfast we drive towards the nation’s capital, Ankara. Visit Anitkabir, a Mausoleum of the famed Mustafa Ataturk, later continue to view the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia.

Day 4: (Monday) Goreme Open-Air Museum, Pasabag, Uchisar

Today after breakfast at the hotel, we tour the Goreme Open Air-Museum, Pasabag, the Uchisar Castle and the Kaymakli Underground City. Keep your camera ready as you would like to click everything you see around. Carpet weaving is one of the old traditions in Turkey. Learn how the carpets are made and priced at the carpet village. Tonight, do not miss the optional Turkish folklore evening featuring folklore and belly dancers, a night you won’t forget!

Day 5: (Tuesday) Underground City, Konya

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel as this morning we visit and explore Kaymakli underground city. Later, leave Cappadocia as we head south towards Konya, along the ancient Silk Road, visiting Sultanhani Caravansary, just like the ancient traders did. Once we reach Konya, we tour the Mevlana Museum and Alaeddin Mosque.

Day 6: (Wednesday) Sagalassos, Pamukkale

Today we will visit the beautiful Pamukkale and it’s calcium travertines. Along the way we visit the ancient site of Sagalassos which was conquered by Alexander in 333 BC. Today it is one of the best-preserved sites in Turkey and is on the UNESCO Tentative list.

Day 7: (Thursday) Pamukkale

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the ruins of Hierapolis, the Temple of Apollo, Necropolis. Walk over the magnificent white calcium terraces of Pamukkale. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods.

Day 8: (Friday) Ephesus

Absorb the interesting facts from history today on a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre. Carpet weaving is one of the old traditions in Turkey. Learn how the carpets are made and priced at the carpet village.

Day 9: (Saturday) Kusadasi

After breakfast our tour concludes. Get transferred to the Izmir airport for your onward flight.
